U.S. Department of Education Addresses HVACR Educators

Webinar Re-broadcast…On April 30, Sharon Miller and Robin Utz of the U.S. Department of Education conducted a one hour webinar for HVACR educators to provide them firsthand information from Washington. Highlights include a blueprint to revise the Perkins Act, align curriculum to industry standards & assessments. Secondary programs provide students will skills necessary for employment, while creating articulation agreements with their post-secondary counterparts for due enrollment and seamless articulation. In the future states and local authorities will fund programs that can demonstrate the fields are in demand. This is all great news for the HVACR industry, enjoy the webinar.
