Director of Technical Education and Standards

Coy has been involved with vocational education for over thirty years. 

His experience includes:

• Ten years in the trades

• Sixteen years of experience as Director of a Tennessee Technology Center

• Ten years of experience as director of vocational-technical education for two secondary school systems (Loudon County/Lenoir City Schools Partnership)

• Four years as the Evening School Assistant Director at the State Area School at Chattanooga

• Day instructor at Chattanooga City High School

• State HVACR Chair - Tennessee Technology Centers 

Coy Gibson has a B.S. Degree, M.S. Degree & Doctorial program (ABD).
